KWIDZYN, POLAND -- Jabil reportedly is laying off 350 full-time workers at its electronics manufacturing facility here, its second big cut this year.

In March, the world's third-largest contract printed circuit board assembler let go a reported 600 workers, many of whom were temps.

As programs begin, end or demand slackens, it is not unusual for EMS companies to ramp employment rapidly up or down, especially in emerging regions.
