PHOENIX -- Assembly Plus, a low-volume contract assembler based here, has closed and will be sold at auction.

The company operated in a 10,000 sq. ft. facility in Phoenix, where it performed SMT assembly and box build.
 
In 2012, the EMS company had been publicly identified as a buyer of components from MVP Micro, a distributor that was raided by the US government for trading in counterfeit parts.
