MINNEAPOLIS – SMTA International 2013 experienced a 30% increase in registrations, to more than 1,300, and a 45% increase in onsite attendance compared to 2012, the association says.

SMTA attributes the increase in onsite attendance to the co-location of the show with IPC's Fall Standards Development Committee Meetings.

International attendance was at a record high, up 17% year-over-year, with attendees representing 27 different countries.

More than 170 exhibiting companies filled the sold-out exhibit hall, up 10% compared to last year.

SMTAI 2014 will be held Sept. 28 – Oct. 2 at the Donald Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. The IPC Fall Standards Development Committee Meetings will again be co-located.
