BANNOCKBURN, IL – IPC is partnering with Tetra Tech to offer one-day conflict minerals workshops to help companies prepare for conflict minerals reporting and customer inquiries.                               

Workshops will be held Jan. 30 in Needham, MA; Feb. 4 in Irvine, CA; Feb. 6 in Milpitas, CA; Feb. 19 in Bannockburn, IL; and Mar. 4 in Austin, TX.                                                                            

Instructors will provide a compliance roadmap for Section 1502 of the 2010 Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
The US SEC deadline is May 31 for filing conflict minerals reports.

Additional topics include OEM programs and requirements; conducting a reasonable country of origin inquiry; supplier outreach; IPC-1755, EICC/GeSI reporting template and other software tools; and industry best practices.
