SZEKESFEHERVAR, HUNGARY -- Videoton reported overall sales rose 12% to 110 billion HUF ($482 million) in 2013 on higher demand for automotive and industrial electronics.

 

Working capital grew 6% year-over-year, the company said. Headcount rose 5%, or by 400 employees, to 8,200 worldwide as of Dec. 31.

Videoton, which focuses on automotive, household appliances and industrial end-markets, forecast continued growth in in 2014.

The company is the fifth-largest Europe-based EMS, behind Zollner, AsteelFlash, Enics and Eolane.
