SIEVI, FINLAND – Scanfil Group posted fourth-quarter revenue of EUR 45.4 million, up 11.2% year-over-year.
Net profit was EUR 1. 9 million, up from EUR 300,000 in the prior year quarter.
Operating profit for the period was EUR 2.5 million, up 257% compared to the same quarter of 2012.
For full-year 2013, revenue totaled EUR 188.5 million, up 4.2% year-over-year. Net profits rose 44% to EUR 8.2 million, up 44%, while operating profit was EUR 11.8 million, up 45.7%.
Scanfil guided for 2014 revenue to increase 4% to 10%, and operating profit for the year is expected to reach EUR 10 million to 14 million.
Sales to electronics customers increased by about 15% in 2013 compared with the previous year and accounted for 82% of revenue. Sales to telecommunication customers continued to decline and accounted for 18% of revenue, the firm says.
