BOUDRY, SWITZERLANDCicor posted net revenues for 2013 of $217.9 million, up 8.2% year-over-year.

Net profit was $5.1 million, down 26.2% compared to 2012.

The firm said it increased its orders during the year by 16.5% to $230.7 million.

EBITDA was up 14.9% to $20.1 million.

Profit before taxes for the year increased 15% to $6.6 million.

The medical segment has become the firm’s largest market segment, with 28 %. While the ES and Asia divisions increased sales in 2013, the Printed Circuit Board and Microelectronics divisions suffered a drop in net revenues, says Cicor.

The Asia division posted record revenues of $43.7 million, up 45.3% year-over-year. Asia division operating profit in 2013 was $3.8 million, up 73.7%.

This ES division generated net revenues of $108.4 million, up 8% year-over-year. The division posted operating profits of $5.9 million, down 7.1% compared to 2012.

The PCB division’s net revenues dropped 7 .7 % to $34.9 million. The division generated operating profits of $2.7 million, down 17.2% year-over-year.

Net revenues of the ME division were $32.8 million, down 5.4% compared to 2012. The division posted an EBIT loss of nearly $229,000.

The number of divisions was reduced from four to two as of Jan. 1. Cicor is now divided into the Advanced Microelectronics & Substrates division and the Electronic Solutions division.
