NEENAH, WI -- Plexus chief financial officer Ginger Jones has resigned, effective immediately. The company named treasurer and vice president of finance Patrick Jermain as CFO.

Jones, who has been CFO of Plexus since 2007, will remain with the company through Sept. 28. to assist with the transition.

Analysts said they believe the transition has been in the works for some time.

Jermain joined Plexus as corporate controller in December 2010. He previously was corporate controller, assistant treasurer and principal accounting officer at Appleton Papers and has a master's of business administration from Northwestern University.
