Benchmark's Q2 Sales, Profits Jump

ANGLETON, TX -- Benchmark Electronics today reported higher profits and revenues for its second quarter.
For the period ended June 30, net earnings rose 162% year-over-year to $22.15 million. Operating profits, excluding one-time items, were $23.39 million.
Revenue for the period jumped 12.2% to $717 million.
The electronics manufacturing services company guided for third-quarter revenues of $670 million to $700 million.
