WOODRIDGE, IL – In the first half of 2015, Navitas Electronics has added substantial new SMT capacity, expanding its production capability to medium- to high-volume printed circuit board and mechanical assembly manufacturing.
"Over the last couple months alone, we have recently invested in new equipment, including a Panasonic CM Series pick-and-place machine, Glenbrook x-ray machines, ERSA automated BGA repair stations and full solder repair stations, PVA automated conformal coating machines and various other equipment," said States Mead, vice president of manufacturing.
Earlier this year, the electronics manufacturer received ISO 9001 recertification and can manufacture products at IPC-A-610E Class 3 soldering standards.
The firm provides battery management systems for military and industrial lithium batteries, defense-related applications, industrial control systems, and automotive and commercial devices.
