GLENVIEW, IL -- Illinois Tool Works today reported second quarter revenue at its Test & Measurement and Electronics unit fell 5% year-over-year.
ITW said Test & Measurement was down seven percentage points for the period, implying that the Electronics segment was up. The unit reported $496 million in sales for the quarter ended June 30.
The operating margin was 16.1%, up 0.9% from a year ago.
The group includes such leading brands as Speedline, Vitronics Soltec, Kester and others.
For the third quarter the company expects organic revenue to be flat to up 1%.
