ST. PETERSBURG, FL – Jabil Circuit reported fourth quarter GAAP net revenue of $4.7 billion ended Aug. 31, up 14.6% year-over-year.
Electronics manufacturing services accounted for $2.8 billion in revenue for the quarter.
The firm posted GAAP net income of $87.7 million for the period, compared to a loss of $26.2 million for the same quarter in 2014.
GAAP operating income was $150.4 million, an increase of 223% year-over-year.
“Our strong cash generation provided us the financial flexibility to complete a number of strategic acquisitions, aggressively reinvest in the business, and return approximately $150 million to shareholders via dividend and share repurchases,” said CEO Mark T. Mondello.
Fiscal year net revenue was $17.9 billion, up 13.3% year-over-year.
Jabil anticipates fiscal year 2016 revenue of approximately $20 billion, with the first quarter bringing in between $5.1 billion and $5.3 billion.
