CALABASAS, CA – National Technical Systems has acquired Microtek Laboratories for an undisclosed sum.

Microtek Laboratories is a testing laboratory servicing the materials, mechanical, and printed circuit board industries.

The acquisition approximately doubles NTS's capacity to service mechanical and electronics testing needs, the firm says.

Microtek's Anaheim, CA, facility will become NTS Anaheim, adding expanded materials testing capabilities to complement NTS's
environmental simulation offering.  The Anaheim lab also offers failure analysis and materials testing.
