KARLSKOGA, SWEDEN -- Scanfil will sell its entire share capital of its subsidiary PartnerTech Aerodyn AB for 350,000 euros ($388,850), the EMS company said today.

The firm will take a one-time loss of about 1.2 million euros related to the sale. Closing is subject to certain usual preconditions which are expected to be met during April.  

Scanfil acquired the unit, which makes fabricated metal products, as part of its purchase last year of PartnerTech, which in turn bought the business in 2012.
