POOLE, DORSET, ENGLAND -- Surface Electronics has acquired Poole-based EMS South Wessex Electronics for an undisclosed sum. 

The deal includes some 34 employees of South Wessex Electronics, which serves the oil and gas, medical and military markets.

South Wessex Electronics had been in administration since mid March as part of a corporate restructuring.

Funding came from SKG Capital Partners and an asset-based lending facility from Secure Trust Bank Commercial Finance.

Surface Electronics has been in business more than 25 years.

Surface Electronics Ltd., was founded on Mar. 18 and has its registered office in Cheltenham. The organization's status is a private limited company in England.
