RALEIGH, NC -- Asteelflash USA has been awarded a major consumer electronics manufacturing contract at its facility in Raleigh-Morrisville, NC that will result in the adding of more than 100 new jobs.

The program with the undisclosed consumer electronics customer will start in this summer and ultimately could result in the shipping of more than 20 million units annually.

The EMS company is investing more than $1 million in new automated assembly equipment to handle the order.

Asteelflash said it was chosen because of its experience in EMS and supply-chain management, as well as for its global footprint, design services and direct fulfillment capabilities.
