CHICAGO -- There were six EMS transactions recorded in the first quarter, down one from a year ago, according to Lincoln International.
The investment advisory firm noted two EMS consolidations, two vertical/horizontal convergences, one diversification into EMS and one OEM divestiture.
Four of the transactions completed in the quarter occurred in Europe, and the others were cross-border deals.
Large tier EMS providers accounted for three of the six deals, mid-tier EMS providers accounted for two and there was one acquisition by a small tier EMS provider.
