TOYKO -- A pair of leading Japanese laminate suppliers are raising prices, according to a new report. In mid September, Matsushita Electric raised prices of copper laminates and prepreg about 15%.

And Sumitomo Bakelite will increase prices of laminate products 10 to 16% this month.

Sumitomo is a major laminate supplier in Japan.

The news was reported by Dominqiue Numakura, managing director of DKN Research (dknresearch.com).
