IRVINE, CA – Henkel will expand its existing plant in Pune, India, adding a solder paste blending facility for its Multicore line of solder pastes. The addition will be blend SnPb and Pb-free solder paste for the Indian electronics market. The company will hire additional personnel for the new plant, which will be operational by October. The original 38,000 sq. ft. facility is reportedly ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 qualified and has been operational for more than 17 years, producing Loctite adhesives for the industrial and automotive markets.
