CUPERTINO, CA -- Apple Inc. is seeing continued demand for its Macintosh PCs and expects strong sales of the new iPhone, the company told analysts this week.

Analysts say the company's revenue estimate of $5.1 billion for the June quarter will likely prove conservative.

Deutsche Bank forecasts Apple will sell 1.3 million PCs during the June quarter, and notebook demand "appears to be very robust." The release of Adobe CS3 will unlock pent-up demand for Mac Pros, DB said, and the release of Leopard next spring "will likely further stimulate demand. "

Apple management remains "very optimistic" about the iPhone and characterizes it as a "game changer," DB said. The company also plans to release Apple TV later this month, and is optimistic on its prospects within the digital home and media hub market.
