ATLANTA – For the first time in its 27-year history, CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY is accepting entries from distributors for the annual Service Excellence Awards (SEAs) – the premier awards program in electronics manufacturing.
The SEAs honor electronics assembly equipment, material and software suppliers that excel in the critical area of customer service. All participants receive a custom report that includes candid feedback from their customers and shows how they measure up to their competitors.
“This year, at their request, we are opening up the awards to distributors,” said Mike Buetow, editor in chief of CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY. “The equipment and materials distribution segment plays an ever-more critical role in electronics manufacturing, yet is often overlooked. This is a chance to highlight some of those many, many fine companies.”
The deadline to register is Sept. 7.
How does it work?
It’s just a few simple steps. First, register at https://www.eiseverywhere.com/2019sea. Next, provide us with a list of a minimum of 10 customers. (All customer names and data will be kept strictly confidential.) We survey them to determine their level of satisfaction. After the scores are totaled, the highest ranked companies will be presented awards on Jan. 29, 2019, at IPC Apex Expo in San Diego.
Your customers are surveyed to determine satisfaction in various categories, including:
• Dependability/timely delivery
• Ease of doing business
• Responsiveness to requests and changes
• Technology
• Value for the price
All customer responses and ratings are tabulated and provided in a confidential report to the participating company. None of this information is provided to other parties or participants.
