ST. PETERSBURG, FL – Jabil reported fiscal third quarter net revenue of $6.1 billion, up 12.9% year-over-year.

Net income for the quarter ended May 31 was $44 million, an increase of 3.1%. Operating income was $140.9 million, up 24.7% year-over-year.

The electronics manufacturing services business experienced revenue growth of 26%.

“I’m extremely pleased with our third quarter performance, highlighted by solid operational excellence and strong financial results,” said CEO Mark Mondello. “The team delivered 20 basis points of core margin expansion on double-digit revenue growth, culminating in an impressive 24% core EPS growth year-over-year. Our strong year-to-date results validate that our diversification strategy has firmly taken hold.”

For the nine-month period ended May 31, net revenue was $18.7 billion, an increase of 14.6% year-over-year. Net income was $235.7 million, up 63.5%. Operating income for the first nine months of fiscal 2019 was $511.6 million, growth of 31.8%.

For the fiscal fourth quarter, Jabil expects net revenue between $6.3 billion and $6.9 billion and US GAAP operating income of $169 million to $235 million.
