ZHENGZHOU, CHINA – Foxconn is aiding authorities in the investigation of an off-campus death of a worker employed here, according to reports.

The male employee was found dead Monday outside an apartment building.

“We are deeply saddened by this loss and have extended our condolences to the family of the employee,” said Foxconn in a statement. “We are working with the Foxconn Labor Union and others to provide the family with the support they need at this very difficult time.”

The cause of death is unconfirmed.
