WAYNESBORO, VA – EMS firm Virtex said it is creating 40 to 50 new manufacturing jobs here, according to reports.
Virtex seeks candidates with manufacturing, assembly or electronic experience for a new product line.
“This expansion requires many different skillsets to meet the company’s goals,” general manager Walt Carter said. “New team members who have experience in IPC production soldering are in high demand, as well as electronics technicians. Virtex will train new staff on the job, and certificate programs are available.
The company occupies 90,000 sq. ft. of a nearly 342,000 sq. ft. facility in the municipality, where it manufactures electronics for military, aerospace, and medical customers.
