Dixon Seeks Land in India for EMS Plant
KARNATAKA, INDIA – Dixon Technologies is looking for land to set up an electronics manufacturing unit here.
The company's management requested government help in setting up the unit, and the deputy chief minister has promised assistance, according to reports.
Dixon reportedly is looking for 10 to 15 acres of land and other fiscal benefits.
The firm has narrowed down the search to locations in Kolar, Bengaluru Rural and Ramanagara districts and has been briefed on the benefits of hiring locals.
The project is expected to be implemented under the Karnataka Department of IT/BT and Electronics System Design & Manufacturing (ESDM) Policy.
