SAN LUIS POTOSI, MEXICO – CCL Industries has signed a binding agreement to acquire Desarrollo e Investigación and Fuzetouch (Singapore) (collectively D&F) for some $50.7 million, according to reports.

D&F supplies graphic interface control panels and assemblies for the consumer electronics and medical markets.

Closing is expected by the end of 2021. The new business will be renamed CCL Design.

“We are pleased to expand our highly successful CCL Design operations, adding important new capabilities: technical screen printing, printed electronics including design and assembly, adhesive and functional coating and in-mold decoration. We welcome the entire D&F team to the CCL Design global network headed by Derek Cumming, group vice president,” said Geoffrey T. Martin, president and CEO, CCL Industries.

For 2020, D&F posted consolidated sales and adjusted EBITDA of $31.3 million and $8.1 million, respectively.
