GRAND RAPIDS, MI -- ADAC Automotive today announced the acquisition of EBW Electronics, an electronics design and assembly company.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Holland, MI-based EBW is a family-owned electronics supplier, and deal includes employees of EBW.
In a statement, ADAC said the acquisition provides vertical integration, as well as production and distribution of printed circuit board assemblies, adds a fifth West Michigan manufacturing location and grows its team in West Michigan to more than 1,000.
ADAC is a developer of mechatronic vehicle access systems. It added: "The addition of electronics manufacturing will be a catalyst for growth in other automotive categories, strengthen Tier 2 automotive supply for electronic products produced in North America and propel growth in industries including commercial vehicles, agriculture, furniture and home products just to name a few."
