KAOHSIUNG, TAIWAN – Foxconn is set to invest T$15.9 billion ($510 million) to develop a new headquarters complex in Kaohsiung, strengthening its long-term presence in southern Taiwan. The project will include a mixed-use commercial and office building alongside a residential tower, with construction scheduled to begin in 2027 and completion targeted for 2033.
The Kaohsiung headquarters will function as a regional operations hub, housing teams focused on smart-city development, software research and development, battery-cell R&D, electric vehicle technologies and AI application software. Foxconn said the site will play a central role in coordinating its southern Taiwan operations.
Kaohsiung city officials noted that Foxconn’s total investments in the city have reached T$25 billion ($802 million) over the past three years, underscoring the company’s expanding footprint in advanced manufacturing and technology development in the region.
