FÜRTH, GERMANY – Voltatron AG has acquired 100% of Komitec electronics GmbH, advancing its M&A-driven growth strategy and significantly expanding its electronics manufacturing services capabilities ahead of 2026. The transaction is expected to be initially consolidated as of January 1.
Voltatron said the acquisition strengthens its value chain by adding electronics R&D resources alongside medium- and large-scale production capacity for electronic assemblies, devices, and systems. The deal also expands Voltatron’s customer base and more than doubles its available production space, creating additional production redundancy and flexibility.
The transaction includes a cash component and the issuance of new shares through a capital increase against contribution in kind. As part of the deal, Komitec Managing Director Jochen Schmitt-Ruenhorst will continue in his role and become a long-term shareholder in Voltatron, supporting continuity and operational integration.
Voltatron said it will provide further detail on its financial outlook with the release of its 2025 annual report in April.
