TAIPEI, TAIWAN – Hon Hai Precision Industry reported record January revenue of $23 billion, up 36% year over year, driven by strong shipments of artificial intelligence–related products, particularly in cloud and networking hardware.
Revenue declined 15% sequentially from December due to seasonal effects, but the year-over-year gain marked the highest January performance in the company’s history. Hon Hai said last year’s comparison was influenced by the timing of the Lunar New Year, which fell in January 2025 versus February 2026.
By segment, cloud and networking products delivered strong year-over-year growth, supported by continued demand for AI cloud infrastructure and server racks. Components and other products also increased year over year on higher shipments tied to core manufacturing programs. Smart consumer products rose on improved order momentum, while computer terminal products declined slightly compared with last year.
Looking ahead, Hon Hai said first-quarter performance is expected to exceed typical seasonal averages, citing stronger-than-anticipated AI server rack shipments and resilient demand across smart consumer products. The company said first quarter results are now projected to outperform the range seen over the past five years.
