TIJUANA, MEXICO -- Catalyst Manufacturing Services has opened a 80,000 sq. ft. facility in Tijuana, its second here, the company said.
The site features two SMT lines and 60,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space.

JASPER, IN – Kimball Electronics on Aug. 31 acquired Genesis Electronics Manufacturing for an undisclosed sum.
Genesis, an EMS provider based in Tampa, FL, has annual revenues of about $17 million and operates from a 50,000 sq. ft. facility formerly owned by Jabil.

VANCOUVER – Creation Technologies today acquired Circuit Service Inc. and its Chinese subsidiary, Changzhou CSI Ltd. (CCSI) of Changzhou, China.
The acquisition marks the first foray for the EMS provider into Asia. No financial details were disclosed.

BANGKOK -- Cal-Comp Electronics says the Thai government's state of emergency has not affected the EMS provider's operations.
