BANGKOK – Fabrinet announced that company founder and longtime chairman David Mitchell has retired after 25 years of leadership. The Board of Directors appointed current CEO and director Seamus Grady as chairman, ensuring a smooth leadership transition. Mitchell, who founded Fabrinet in 2000, has overseen the company’s growth into a major global electronics manufacturing services provider.
STOCKHOLM – HANZA AB has entered into an agreement to acquire BMK Group GmbH, a German electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider with roughly 1,500 employees, solidifying its position as Europe’s largest publicly listed contract manufacturer.
STOCKHOLM – NOTE reported third-quarter revenue of roughly $75.1 million, up from $73.2 million in the same period last year – a 2.6% increase, or 6% organic growth when adjusted for currency. Operating profit rose to $6.7 million from $5.8 million, while the adjusted operating margin climbed to 9.3% from 8.3% a year earlier. Net profit grew to $4.9 million from $3.9 million.
