LAGUNA, PHILIPPINES — Integrated Micro-Electronics today said first-quarter net income surged $5 million from $253,100 a year ago on higher sales in most geographies. Revenues for the period rose 25% to $205.7 million over 2013.
BANGKOK -- Fabrinet reported fiscal third quarter net income more than doubled to $47.7 million, up from $21.1 million a year ago. For the period ended March 28, revenue rose 7.8% from a year ago to $167.7 million.
NATICK, MA -- A US District Court jury has found in favor of Cognex in the company’s patent infringement lawsuit against Microscan Systems and Microscan's development and manufacturing partner, The Code Corp. The lawsuit filed by Cognex alleged that Microscan’s Mobile Hawk handheld imager infringed US Patent No. 7,874,487, held by Cognex.
