ePlace 4.0 software is for operating Paraquda and Cobra SMD pick-and-place machines. Uses Windows 7. Has a graphical user-machine interface. Chooses between MS-SQL, MySQL and PostgreSQL. Exports data from XML to SQL database and vice versa via a mouse click. User help has been expanded. Components with no visible leads, such as BGAs, now can be shown from bottom-up alternatively. Automatically corrects systematic changes due to temperature drift; recalibrates pick-and-place head during short production breaks. Conveyor system can be altered from left-right to right-left operation with one mouse click. Automatically switches to synchronous mode if required by the length of a PCB.

StripFeeder modular system is for loading tape-and-reel components onto compact modules for prototyping and high-mix, low-volume applications. Now features removable rails that can be mounted to accommodate an array of tape sizes in the same feeder. Can be adjusted by removing the rails and repositioning them on the base plate at desired width (4mm pitched hole pattern). Rails align with precision pin locaters and lock down with magnets. Hold components securely in machined tracks. Can remove rails to accommodate larger components up to 120mm tape width. Is built to JEDEC-standards and size specifications.
