MANCHESTER, NH -- EPE Corporation is strategically investing again with the purchase and implementation of three new Ekra Serio 4000 Solder Paste Screen Printers.

“These new screen printers are the latest in flexibility and performance.  Each of our three SMT lines includes one of these screen printers which are customizable and scalable, helping us to achieve our business growth and scalability goals,” comments James “JD” Bell, Jr., President and CEO of EPE Corporation.

“EPE continuously strives to improve upon our equipment and technology and to offer the best capabilities to our customers,” he adds, “and these Ekra screen printers are just another example of our commitment to the latest technology.”

Richard “Rick” Stirbisky, Director of Operations at EPE, adds, “With these new screen printers, we can decrease time to production while increasing our print quality.  A high quality, repeatable print is critical.”

Over the past year, EPE has made several other capital investments to meet their customers’ growing needs by following the Ekra screen printers with Pemtron Solder Paste measurement, Nordson DAGE XD7600NT Ruby FP X-Ray Inspection System, Pillarhouse Jade MKII Selective Soldering, and a Nordson ASYMTEK Spectrum S-920N liquid dispensing machine for underfill applications. Starting the process by performing Design for Manufacturability analysis to insure a robust product launch with the Mentor Graphics’ Valor Software allows EPE to excel in the high reliability markets.
