Scripting Interface significantly accelerates support for Secure Elements and Secure Microcontrollers on the SentriX Secure Provisioning System

Redmond, WA, November 2018 – Data I/O Corporation (NASDAQ: DAIO), a leading global provider of advanced data programming and security provisioning solutions for flash-memory, flash based microcontrollers, secure elements and authentication ICs, announces the immediate availability of the Scripting Interface, developed in a collaboration with Secure Thingz, for the SentriX™ Secure Provisioning System.  The Scripting Interface, based on the next-generation Secure Deploy platform from Secure Thingz, provides a leap forward in enabling rapid device support for the Data I/O SentriX Secure provisioning system.

The SentriX Secure Provisioning System already supports Secure Elements from partners such as NXP Semiconductor, Maxim Integrated and Infineon Technologies.  The Scripting Interface allows Data I/O and Secure Thingz to expand this support to include Secure Microcontrollers such as the Cypress Semiconductor PSoC® 6 MCU Family, Microchip Technology SAML11 MCU Family and Renesas Electronics Synergy™ Platform.

The Scripting interface will be delivered as an upgrade to the existing SentriX platforms already deployed in secure provisioning centers around the world such as those found at Arrow Electronics and Avnet, Inc.
