San Diego — June 2019 — KIC announced that MB Allen, Manager for KIC’s Applications & Sales, received a Distinguished Committee Service Award during IPC SummerCom 2019. The award was presented to Allen during the IPC committee awards luncheon Monday, June 17, 2019.
Allen accepted the award on behalf of Miles Moreau, Global Manager Products and Technologies, Tom Bergeron, Product Manager, and herself, in recognition of their leadership of the 2-17 Connected Factory Initiative Subcommittee in its development of the IPC-2591, Connected Factory Exchange (CFX).
IPC-CFX is an electronics manufacturing industry developed standard forming the foundation/backbone of Industry 4.0 Applications. It simplifies and standardizes machine to machine communication while also facilitating machine to business/business to machine solutions.
MB Allen is a manager for KIC’s Applications & Sales in the Americas. Her technical expertise, relationships with valued partners and customers, and many years of sales experience aid KIC in the future development, improvement and sales of the company’s product offerings. MB has worked in electronics industry for 31 years and been associated with KIC for 30 years with both national and international positions.
