SALISBURY, NC –
Henkel Corp. will consolidate certain electronics adhesive manufacturing operations into its plant here, the company said. The company plans to invest more than $23.7 million and to create 103 jobs during the next three years.
The company, which acquired
National Starch's adhesives and electronics materials operations last year, plans to consolidate out-of-state operations and expand the Salisbury facility, which produces specialty label industrial adhesives and PCB assembly adhesives. The Salisbury expansion will focus on electronics-related adhesives.
The new positions will pay an average annual wage of $54,763, not including benefits.
The company also announced it has been awarded a $206,000 grant from the One North Carolina Fund, which provides financial assistance to attract business projects that will stimulate economic activity and create new jobs in the state.
