SAN JOSE – Dr. Ljubisa Stevanovic, chief engineer, energy conversion advanced technology for GE Global Research, will keynote iNEMI’s Alternative Energy Workshop here Oct. 20 - 21. 

The Cisco-hosted workshop will focus on the technology challenges and standardization gaps affecting deployment of alternative energies, and identify issues best resolved through collaborative efforts between the electronics industry and the energy sector.

Session topics include wind power; energy storage/power conditioning; solid state lighting; photovoltaics, and smart grid.
