ANGLETON, TX -- Benchmark Electronics expects to "modestly" beat its previous guidance for fourth-quarter revenue and earnings per share.

The contract electronics manufacturer on Oct. 27 gave revenue guidance of $475 million to $525 million. Benchmark says revenue for the period ended Dec. 31 should top the high end.

The EMS company is finalizing its financial results for the fourth quarter and will report those results Feb. 2.
