Cemtrex's EMS Sales Slip in December Quarter

FARMINGDALE, NY -- Cemtrex reported total revenue for the three months ended Dec. 31 rose 54% from a year ago to $13.8 million.
Net income fell 5% to $396,872 due to lower sales at its electronics manufacturing services unit.
EMS revenues fell 2% to $6.5 million due primarily to curreny effects and the timing of shipments of in-house orders during this quarter as compared to the similar quarter a year ago.
Environmental products and systems revenues increased 212%, to $7.34 million during the quarter.
