Elite Mfg. Acquires Multi-Lab

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – Elite Manufacturing Services has purchased Lawrence, MA-based Multi-Lab for an undisclosed sum.
Privately held Multi-Lab was founded in 1981 and specializes in quickturn fabrication and assembly of printed circuit boards.
The company will be moved to the Boston suburb of North Andover, where Elite has a 31,000 sq. ft. building.
It marks Elite’s second acquisition in the past 12 months. The EMS firm bought Newburyport, MA-based Accutek Microcircuits last August.
The company also has installed a second SMT line, flying probe tester, CNC drilling, ultrasonic welding, and a universal grid tester, according to vice president and CTO Liam Holt.
