SHANGHAI – Nepcon China, the Shanghai-based electronics equipment trade show, saw a 5.7% increase in attendees over last year, the show producer says.

Nearly 500 EMS companies exhibited at the event in April, which was held in conjunction with the inaugural Green Lighting Shanghai Expo and Forum 2010.

Together, the shows drew 14,310. In a post-show poll, 95% of visitors agreed the event was fully representative of the industry, Reed Exhibitions says. Nepcon China 2011 is scheduled to take place May 11-13 at the Shanghai Everbright Convention and Exhibition Center.
