MUNICH – Productronica, the biggest trade show in the electronics world, is boosting its online presence.
 
The show’s website, www.productronica.com, now includes expert commentary on hot trends such as green electronics. New articles will be posted to the site regularly, show organizers say, and experts are available to answer industry questions directly.
 
Also, the website has a series of interviews in which leading executives exhibiting at Productronica answer questions about the industry and talk about the event’s impact on their activities.
 
Productronica takes place in Munich Nov. 10 – 13. On Nov. 10, CEOs of international operating companies and widely known management and business consultant Ram Charan will discuss trends at the First Munich Electronics Summit. 

MANASSAS, VA – Customers of Zestron have visited the cleaning materials firm's worldwide technical centers at record levels in 2009, the company reported today.
 
So far this year, more than 600 customers have visited the technical and analytical centers, which reside in the US, Germany, China and Malaysia. In a typical year, 500 customers would visit the technical centers, according to Zestron president Dr. Harald Wack.
 
The technical centers present a platform for process evaluations and specifications, including hands-on process evaluation, cleaning equipment, inline processes through expert advice, and analytical test methods according to the latest industry standards. Customers can attend cleaning evaluations and obtain experimental results the same day, the company said.
 
Zestron has been involved in an expansion plan, having expanded its sites in Munich and China this year, and opening a center in Malaysia.
