ONTARIO, CA -- J.R. Controls has acquired
Cosmotronic Inc., a maker of mil spec rigid and rigid-flex printed circuit boards and assemblies.
The Cosmotronic management team has been retained and will report to Bill Kennard, president and general manager of the
Winonics Printed Circuit Board group, a wholly owned subsidiary of
J.R.Controls.
Cosmotronic, based in nearby Irvine, has been in business for 38 years and is qualified to
MIL-PRF-31032, MIL-PRF-55110, MIL-P-50884 and other standards.
Winonics, which has plants in Brea and Fullerton, CA, and in Ft. Worth, TX, supplies
quickturn commercial PCBs up to 32 layers and backplanes.
According to the company, it has grown more than 20% per year since its 1977 debut.
