SAN JOSE -- The Nasdaq stock exchange has issued a delisting warning to
Sanmina-SCI for the EMS firm's failure to file its quarterly 10-Q form.
In response, Sanmina-SCI has requested a hearing before the Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Panel.
The letter was issued in accordance with Nasdaq procedures due to the
delayed filing of the company's 10-Q form for the quarter ended July 1.
Pending a decision by the panel, Sanmina's shares will remain listed.
Sanmina-SCI had previously announced that select members of its board
would conduct an investigation into the company's stock administration
practices dating to Jan. 1, 1997. That committee is being assisted by
an outside legal counsel and accounting consultants, and their work is
is ongoing.
