DataMan 200 ID Reader is said to be the first image-based reader to feature full Ethernet connectivity in a package the size of a matchbox; is also the first to offer liquid lens technology. Ethernet connectivity provides real-time data and image transfer, and integration with plant controllers and information networks. Liquid lens technology is optional; adjusts the camera’s focus by applying an electrical charge to fluid within the lens. Autofocus is achieved with a single software command. Reportedly provides excellent depth of field and field-of-view range. Setup uses two laser aimers. Laser targets are seen through the entire depth of field. Supports a wide range of 1-D and 2-D codes, including UPC/EAN/JAN, Code 39, Code 128, Code 93, Interleaved 2 of 5, Data Matrix, QR Code, and micro QR Code.
Siplace SX has a modular gantry that can be replaced in less than 30 min. with an easy-to-use changeover system. Makes placement performance and capacity individually scalable in line with demand. Comes with 12-nozzle MultiStar placement head with CPP (Collect & Pick & Place) technology, which switches automatically to the most efficient placement mode. Is compact and said to be easily reconfigurable.
Visionscape Smart Camera combines technologies from machine vision and auto ID into a PCB inspection solution. Can perform as an alternative for inspecting boards for misaligned or missing components and connectors. Positioned over a conveyor or bench top, can verify the accuracy of components and placement, or identify any errors prior to reflow. Combines a compact form factor with Visionscape machine vision software. For quality inspection, device metrology inspection and full traceability. Has optical character recognition, optical character verification, and full reading of any barcodes or 2-D symbols, including the most difficult direct part marks. Includes high-end machine vision algorithms and high-speed multi-core dual processor smart camera technology. Is a portable one-piece unit.
CAM350 XL is a unified suite of tools for complete PCB post-processing. Combines CAM350 and BluePrint-PCB technologies. Focuses on design and Gerber verification for manufacturing; tooling aid output generation, including Gerber, ODB++, solder and paste masks, and NC drill and mill; PCB documentation; release package creation and distribution, and ECO automation. Supports these functions for single PCBs and panels. Offers multi-level verification. Is said to support all major industry output standards required to translate a finished PCB design into accurate Gerber, ODB++, and NC information. Creates complex fabrication, assembly, panel and other drawings to front-end manufacturing without the need to re-extract, convert or re-import data. Exports Gerber and NC drill and mill data directly to the same release package database file the PCB documentation was created in. Revisions can be compared graphically to determine differences between two design database revisions. Report file can be cross-probed to the original CAD system.
EconoGen is a compact plug-and-play nitrogen generator that reportedly eliminates reliance on outside sources for cylinders. Consists of two filter beds of carbon molecular sieve. While preheated compressed air enters the bottom of the first bed and passes across the sieve, oxygen and trace gases are absorbed as nitrogen is allowed to pass through to enter a low-pressure storage tank. As one bed becomes saturated, the second bed automatically activates and takes over the separation process. Remains operative until N2 production requirements are met or the storage tank is filled. Is offered in two series, with Series 1 systems used in low- to high-volume applications, while Series 2 generators are for laboratory, prototyping or benchtop applications.
The SE500 series 100% 3-D solder paste inspection system reportedly has the ability to inspect assemblies at greater than 70 to 80 cm2 /sec. speeds. Inspect pad sizes down to 01005 (150 x 150 µm). Comes in two models, to accommodate different panel sizes. Features a conveyor that can transport panels from 50 x 50 mm to 510 x 510 mm. SE500X can transport panels from 100 x 100 mm to 810 x 610 mm. Standard features for both models include automatic conveyor width adjustment, mechanical board stop, 1- and 2-D multiple barcode read using the sensor, and process tracker SPC charts with alarm capability in the operator user interface. Has enhanced warp compensation for flexible circuits, the ability to handle odd-shaped pads, and an XML file format output. Can run program files originally created for SE 300 Ultra.
