Originally from Mexico, Pablo brings over 20 years of experience in test development, automation, and engineering leadership to ATE Solutions, with an extensive career spanning both Mexico and the UK.
Pablo will lead a dedicated team of 12 professionals, across a range of disciplines, including Applications Engineers and Design/Manufacturing Engineers. With a wealth of experience across various industries, including medical, industrial, consumer electronics, military, aerospace, and robotics, Pablo brings the expertise necessary to support ATE Solutions as it expands into new sectors and continues to innovate in the automated testing space.
In his new role as Engineering Manager at ATE Solutions, Pablo will focus on maintaining and enhancing the quality of the company’s systems and applications. His efforts will centre on ensuring the successful expansion of ATE Solutions, implementing new technologies, and fostering sustainable growth while supporting the needs of existing and new customers.
Pablo began his career in Mexico after completing his Bachelor's in Electronics and Digital Systems at the Universidad Panamericana. He started working at Texas Instruments as an Automation Engineer, where he was recognised for his contributions with multiple awards, including the Texas Instruments Creativity Award and Technical Contribution Award.
In 2003, Pablo moved to the UK to pursue a Master’s degree in Control Systems at Imperial College London. After completing his MSc in 2004, he returned to Mexico and joined Flex, one of the largest contract equipment manufacturers (CEMs) in the world. Over the course of his career at Flex, Pablo took on progressively senior roles, ultimately becoming Design Test Engineering Manager. In this position, he was responsible for the development, deployment, and integration of automated test equipment, managing large-scale technology transfers, and coordinating the design of testing systems for a global customer base.
Pablo's career continued to progress in 2017 when he took on the role of Test Development Manager at Bright Machines in Mexico, overseeing the integration of automated test systems with robotic assembly lines. His leadership contributed significantly to the deployment of robotics and automation solutions for the company’s customers.
In 2022, Pablo returned to the UK to join Dyson as Lead Test Development Engineer. At Dyson, he led test development strategies for new product categories and was instrumental in the successful transfer of test protocols to Southeast Asia.
