RD500 series rework station has upgraded three-stage heating system said to produce up to 5.6KW (large model) overall thermal output, an increase of 40% over the previous model. Features semiautomated single axis placement and reflow station for BGA/SMT; and advanced control technology, for safe lead-free and eutectic rework. Comes in two models. Handles multilayer PCBs up to 500 x 700mm. Reworks metal shielded, ceramic (CCGA), thermal heat sink devices, plastic column BGAs (PBGA) and 01005 devices. Localized top and bottom hot gas heaters and bottom area array infrared (IR) heating system offers uniform heating throughout the board. Higher magnification – high resolution digital optics provide quick and easy parts placement, accurate to within +/- 0.015mm. New micro-controlled stepper motor-driven automated pick-and-place with feedback control.

TL XS 800 thermode-soldering system processes flex foils, cable wires, and ribbon cables. Features quick-change head. Path monitoring and temperature control enables solder joint inspection during soldering process and records operational data for quality control. Operates via a touch screen. Stand-by temperature, soldering temperature, and time until thermode reaches working temperature from stand-by can also be defined. Maximum working temperature of 450°C. Accuracy of ±0.02mm.
