Machvision Hole Doctor – II is a hole verification system that is inline and conveyorized. Developed for inspection and verification of hole count, hole diameters, location accuracy and hole quality on rigid, microvia/HDI or flexible PCBs, as well as LED substrates. Can be used after drilling, de-smearing, plating, or for final inspection and quality control. Is capable of locating plugged holes, improper hole diameters, poor drilling accuracy and other critical parameters. Features SPC software for process verification and control.

No. 851 is a 650°F electrically heated belt conveyor oven used for soldering metal parts. Workspace dimensions measure 18" x 96" x 15".  Has a 2' open belt loading zone, two 4' insulated heat zones with independent recirculated airflow and temperature control, 1' open zone, 12' cooling zone and 2' open belt unloading zone. 60KW installed in Nichrome wire heating elements provide heat, while two 1000 CFM, 2-HP recirculating blowers furnish downward vertical airflow. Features 5" insulated walls, an aluminized steel exterior, Type 304 stainless steel interior, two 16" diameter tubeaxial fans, each driven by a ¾-HP motor to push/pull air through the cooling zone, as well as a 12" wide, 1" x 1" high carbon steel flat wire conveyor belt with ¼-HP motor drive, variable speed from 1.3 to 25.3 IPM. Safety and control equipment include a digital indicating temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller with separate contactors, recirculating blower airflow safety switch and fused disconnect switch.
